Remodel/Conversion

 

Nestled within the picturesque countryside on the outskirts of Wimborne in Dorset lies the hamlet of Mannington. Much of the area is dedicated to farm and heathland with larger single dwellings on significant plots speckled amongst the land.

 

In recent years there have been alterations to the existing houses in the area as well newly built properties, which have added even more interest to the location.

 

the design board were instructed to completely remodel the existing property by producing a contemporary design which would not only transform a very plain bungalow but also facilitate the living requirements of the client who owns and runs an international BMX company.

 

Along with a newly built warehouse facility within the grounds of the estate there are other outbuildings which are necessary for the daily running of the land.

 

The proposed house, which would be reached from a country lane via private gates is set back from the road and would sit extremely well on the plot whilst being a key property within the area.

 

The design has been submitted to East Dorset District Council for consideration.
