Contemporary Single Storey Extension

 

With a cold and leaky conservatory which adjoins a flat roof extension, our clients requirement was to be able to make full use of this space for their family and visitors by improving both prior additions.

the design board was instructed to produce a design to sympathetically add a full rear single storey extension with a contemporary feel, which would add to the appeal of the existing family residence.

​

After producing an initial sketch of the proposal, Paul was able to forward the design utilising maximum glazing for the rear elevation as well as incorporating a long roof lantern.

 

The proposal opens up the existing property which will benefit from an open plan kitchen and dining area as well as snug with easy access through to the existing play room. There is also the addition of a bar area for the parents.
